As a follow-up to the video clip from yesterday, here are a few more clips of our 2006 Colorado vacation that I dug out of the Hollywood Four archives. These clips are from up in the mountains of Boulder and Estes Park (Gem Lake) Some of the views were breathtaking - makes me want to go back again.

I was searching through some old video footage earlier today and I found this fun little memory. This is from our family vacation in Colorado two years ago. This particular clip happened while walking through downtown Boulder. It's a pretty neat place - lots of street entertainers (including Abby and Andrew as chance would have it).

The Hollywood Four still have not made it to the movie theatre in quite a while. However, we continue to catch some family movies at home on DVD. Here is a quick summary of the movies we have watched as a family over the past few weeks along with our highly influential Hollywood Four-O-Meter ratings (out of four stars).
The Water Horse
Dad: 3.5 Mom: 2.5 Abby: 4.0 Andrew: 3.75
Overall Rating: 3.4
Yes, this is a little late; but here is Abby's video documentary of our trip to Cincinnati a couple weeks ago for the Queen City Feis. She filmed and edited this herself - and you can see she needs to work on her spelling. There is some footage of her practicing her dances, but as no live performance footage (those of you who know Feis etiquette know that filming actual competitive performances is forbidden).

Here is another short clip that Andrew filmed in our basement this weekend. He is learning how to use nunchucks (or nunchaka) in Taekwondoe. I thought this clip was sort of cool so I dropped a little Enter The Dragon soundtrack in the background and posted it to our blog.

Andrew had his friend Devon over to play this weekend. They filmed some video footage in the basement and Andrew had me help him edit the following short video together. As you can see, they didn't turn on the light above our green screen stage so the chroma keying effect was not all that great. Nonetheless, I think Andrew was pleased with his creation.

On Friday one of my co-wokers, Bill, retired from work. For his retirement party, they had a picture collage, and in one of the photos Bill was dressed up as "Wayne" of Wayne's World - apparently as a joke for a work party years ago. This reminded me of a classic memory back in 1992 when my high-school/college friends (Gentleman) Jim and Bill (Junior) performed a Wayne's World skit at our annual fantasy baseball banquet (yes, we were nerds). I am only going to show the grand entrance here (it was a surprise to all) because the rest of the content is PG-13 (or greater).
1992; Starring Jim and Bill (and others)
