The Office

Here is the Hollywood Four take on The Office. In case you didn't know, I used to work with Michael Scott at the Dunder Mifflin paper branch in Akron (before I got into the exciting trucking industry).

(Oh mighty) Isis

Nothing new tonight so here is an older, Hollywood Four cheesy take on the classic TV show The Secrets of Isis. Call me a nerd, but this show - and its companion show Shazam! - were must watch TV on Saturday mornings.

Pokemon

This video was done especially for Andrew since he is a HUGE Pokemon fan. It's korny; but then again, so is the whole concept.

Superandrew

Just got back in town from a business trip. So here is a quick post of a Hollywood Four classic. This is a very tired and sneezy "Superandrew."

Partridge Family

Due to a severe lack of time this week, I am going to have to keep digging into the archives to keep up with my daily posts. Hopefully we'll have some fresh material this weekend. In the meantime, here is a little clip that builds upon the "family" theme presented in few of my previous posts.

Production Date: January 2007
Starring: Andrew, Abby, Karen, Scott

Incredible Hulk

This is actually one of my all-time favorite clips - as cheesy as it is. I have maintained the spirit of the original TV introduction, but adapted it a bit to my star actor. The muscles are from an old Halloween costume and the car is actually a Matchbox. You will see that the silver color didn't work so well with the green screen due to the reflection - but the end result is still fun.

Addams Family

Nothing new to post tonight so I will dig into the video vault once again. Here is a kooky (and spooky) little spoof on the Addams Family that we produced last fall.

Brady Bunch

TGIF. I came home from work today and the kids were watching an old episode of The Brady Bunch on TV. So I figured I would post this classic Hollywood Four video clip from about three years ago.

Kung Fu

Kung Fu is the theme of the day! Here is a cheesy little bit Andrew and I created last November. It took me a long time to actually find the original TV intro, but once I did - the silliness began!

Star Trek

Once a Trekkie, always a Trekkie. Yup, I still have fond memories to this day of when I was 11 years old or so laying around the house with my brother Jerry and watching classic episodes of Star Trek. Jerry was a little odd which I think made the experience that much more memorable. Later in life, I have equally fond memories at FSU where me and Brad Carter - and whoever else was hanging around the Farnsworth "public" house - would order a Domino's pizza and a couple of root beers and watch classic Star Trek every Sunday night at 11:30 PM. Later in life, I would come to enjoy sharing "next generation" Star Trek movie experiences with my wife Karen and my brother Rick. As a Trekkie tribute, I find it only fitting that I pass the mantle to my progeny.

Mission Impossible

Here is another action-packed "classic TV" clip that we produced back in November. While the action sequences may vary a little from the original TV show, I tried to maintain the "spirit" of the original. For the burning match effect, I actually recorded one of those funky Windows Media Player lighting effects and then rotated it 90 degrees and chroma-keyed it over top of the clip. To create the animated effect, I had to reposition the flame frame-by-frame (that was boring). You'll also notice my "cheesy" attempt to have Andrew appear African-American. I wasn't happy with the result, but didn't have the patience to mess with it further.

Super Origins

This little superhero clip from over four years ago is actually the piece that started our family fascination with silly green screen videos.Yes, it was all downhill after this one. You will notice the high production values in a few of the frames (the side view mirror of my car).

Production Date: October 2004

A-Team

Dear home video and family fun enthusiasts,

Here is the first in a collection of "classic TV intros" and other silly videos that the Hollywood Four produced over the past couple years. As we find the time, we'll try to intermingle some new stuff in here as well. Enjoy!
